Preparation

  1. Fry the nuggets: as described on the back of the package, then set aside.
  2. The sauce: Combine ketchup , white wine vinegar, brown sugar, and a few teaspoons of pineapple juice (from the can) in a bowl and stir well.
  3. Sauté the vegetables: chop the onion and bell pepper and lightly sauté in a little oil with a pinch of salt and chili flakes (until soft).
  4. Flavor: Add grated garlic and ginger to the pan and stir in the sweet and sour sauce, then mix in the pineapple pieces and finally add the planted.nuggets the pan planted.nuggets
  5. Thicken the sauce (optional): If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce while simmering gently. Continue stirring until the sauce reaches the desired consistency.
  6. Serving: Serve the finished sauce mixture over cooked rice and garnish with sesame seeds and freshly chopped spring onions.
