Steak Bites Fajitas

Peppers (red; yellow or green)

Garlic cloves, chopped

Soy sauce
1 tbsp
Lime juice
1 tsp
smoked paprika powder
1 tsp
Chipotle powder
1 tsp
ground cumin
½ TL
dried oregano
1 tbsp
Olive oil
2 tbsp
Vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh coriander to garnish
Lime wedges to serve

Preparation

  1. Cut the peppers and onions into thin strips. Chop the garlic.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, lime juice, smoked paprika powder, chipotle powder, cumin, oregano and a little olive oil. Add the planted.steak bites and leave to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a large frying pan over a medium-high heat with a little oil. Add the marinated planted.steak bites and fry for 3-5 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan, cover and set aside.
  4. Add a little more oil to the same pan if necessary and fry the onions and peppers for 7-10 minutes until they are lightly browned but still crisp. Add the garlic and fry for another minute.
  5. Return the planted.steak bites to the pan, mix everything well and fry for a further 1-2 minutes.
  6. Heat the tortillas in a dry pan or in the oven. Serve the fajitas with lime wedges, fresh coriander and optional toppings such as salsa or vegan sour cream.
