small baguettes

vegan butter

Lemon juice

Soy sauce
3 TBSP.
Maple syrup

Chopped garlic cloves

Sliced cucumber

Frischer Schnittlauch gehackt

Crispy Strips

Preparation

  1. Fry the Planted.chicken Crispy Strips according to the packet instructions. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  2. For the glaze, melt the vegan butter in a pan. Add the lemon juice, soy sauce, maple syrup, chopped garlic and a pinch of black pepper. Heat and stir until the sauce thickens and becomes sticky.
  3. Return the Crispy Strips to the pan and toss in the lemon and garlic glaze until well coated.
  4. For the cucumber salad, mix the cucumber slices, red onion, olive oil, rice vinegar, an additional tablespoon of maple or rice syrup and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Cut the mini baguettes (or other sandwich bread) in half and toast lightly in a frying pan.
  6. Top the sandwich with the glazed Planted.chicken Crispy Strips, a generous portion of cucumber salad, vegan sour cream and fresh chives.
