The marinade has a fruity note, contains Indian curry spices, and has a very mild spiciness.
Collaboration with Hiltl
The delicate curry marinade was developed exclusively for Planted by Hiltl, which, according to Guinness World Records, is the world’s oldest vegetarian restaurant. “We can’t imagine our menu without Planted anymore—and neither can our guests. We really enjoyed developing this curry marinade. It offers a little bit of everything: just the right touch of salt with a hint of sweetness. The planted.chicken can be pan-fried, grilled on skewers, rolled into wraps, or used as a topping for a bowl or salad. There’s something for everyone!” enthuses Adrian Reimann, Head of Product and Recipe Development at Hiltl.
Starting in April 2022, Hiltl will add the planted.chicken to its popular Hiltl Buffet, the à la carte restaurant at Haus Hiltl, and the Hiltl Vegimetzg menu. Planted and Hiltl have a long-standing relationship; for example, the planted.bistro by Hiltl at the company’s headquarters in Kemptthal is operated by Hiltl.
