Meat substitute startup Planted raises 17 million francs

Planted receives a new boost for its plant-based meat products: The ETH spin-off has collected 17 million francs in a new financing round. The round is led by the venture capital funds Vorwerk Ventures and Blue Horizon. But also Swiss national goalkeeper Yann Sommer and the existing investors Stephan Schmidheiny, Good Seed Ventures, the Gaydoul Group, the ETH Zurich Foundation and Joyance Partners are contributing new capital.
