The planted.bratwurst consists of only six natural ingredients, making it the cleanest sausage on the market. It convinces not only in terms of taste, but also in terms of eco-balance: compared to its animal counterpart, the plant-based sausage saves 71 percentCO2 and 79 percent water. With planted.bratwurst, Planted is expanding its barbecue range and complementing the popular classic, the planted.chicken barbecue skewer.
Summer without a barbecue? Unimaginable. Barbecuing without animal meat? The new standard thanks to Planted. Just in time for the first barbecue of the year, the Swiss foodtech start-up is launching its first plant-based sausage. planted.bratwurst its first plant-based sausage, offering a more sustainable and healthier alternative to conventional barbecuing. With just six natural ingredients, it is the cleanest sausage on the market and contains 76 percent less saturated fatty acids and 18 percent less salt, but 36 percent more protein than an animal-based sausage. An additional fermentation step in Planted's specially developed production process gives the product its truly unique bite and excellent taste profile. The eco-balance is also impressive: compared to its animal counterpart, the plant-based sausage saves 71%CO2 and 79% water.
To bite into: The cleanest sausage made from just six ingredients
Planted shows that the summer barbecue can also be a place for innovation. More and more people want to eat more sustainably and reduce their consumption of animal meat, but traditional BBQs in particular often cannot do without classic meat products. With the planted.bratwurst Planted creates what many people want: A plant-based sausage with good taste, the right texture, crispy browning and natural ingredients - and just a handful of them: pea protein, sunflower oil, water, salt, spices and yeast, enriched with vitamin B12. That's all!
The new planted.bratwurst expands Planted's barbecue range and, together with the popular planted.chicken barbecue skewer, enables a complete barbecue experience with natural, healthy ingredients. The wishes of consumers are an important driver for Planted when developing new products. Varied in preparation and widely available
The new sausage is available exclusively from Coop in two flavors: planted.bratwurst Original and planted.bratwurst Herbs.
The planted.bratwurst Original impresses with its classic taste and can be easily combined with various side dishes such as mustard and bread rolls, salad, chips or seasonal vegetables. The planted.bratwurst Herbs is refined with a homemade spice and herb mix of marjoram, thyme and white pepper and also offers numerous combination options. Especially recommended on cold days: with mashed potatoes and onion sauce. Both planted.bratwurst variants can be cooked as usual either on the grill or in the pan roast.
